Like to see the other competitors carrying the extra weight up the hill!
WOW. What a day that was! The sun shone, the town was packed, the food, drink and laughter flowed, records tumbled on the hill, and fun was had by all.
Thank you so much to all the organisers, traders, chefs, marshalls, cheese competitors and of course, the lovely people of Shaftesbury for making it all happen.
We'll update with more detail and pictures, but for now, the kettle is on and the feet are up.

We are loving the bunting in the town for the Food Festival on Sunday.
Huge thanks to the fantastic support of the Shaftesbury & District Chamber of Commerce who have provided the town with these fantastic new decorations, and Shaftesbury own Decor By Georgie who made it, it will be flying high above the High Street all the way through to the Shaftesbury Fringe in July.Thank you- to Ray, Rob, James and Ella (and Bronwen-not pictured) who gave up their Friday night so our town will look vibrant, colourful and welcoming this spring and summer. The bunting brightens up #Shaftesbury for us residents and for our visitors. #Shaftesbury Shaftesbury Fringe Shaftesbury & District Chamber of Commerce Shaftesbury Food & Drink Festival ...
